Glittering Shards

I want to bring back my muses and maybe help my fans get to know my Cheshire Cat a it better. This is set after he meets the Mad Hatter. Any spelling or grammer errors will be cleaned up later. Same warnings as Entwined.

Nothing about this belongs ot me except the concept. All the rest belongs to Carroll and whatever legal advisors his family has.

~*~*~*~*~

There is . . . so much in this world. I remeber when the faric was ripped and we all became crazy as you might put it. It was right after darling little Alice left. We couldn't take it and *bam* snapped.

But that has no importance now. I am faster, stronger, smarter, and more mature than she could ever imagine me. Her leaving didn't damage me, it mearly released me.

Have you ever held a life in your hands? It's orgasmic in it's power. The poor creature quakes unconciously, it's body begging it to be spared. Only the weak kill their victems right then. I drink in their fear, and then reassure them that life might still come to them. And in the end, the most deliciouse thing is to see the betrayal in them when I kill them.

But for all that, I am not a mindless killing machine. Really, they only die because that is the greatest shock I can give them. My love is to play with their pathetic minds. That is why I followed the gryphon to thepalace. Kings and Queens are wicked fun to play with, and they are dreadfully attached to their kin.

And then, oh, then I met my Hatter. A more twisted mind you will not find. It is beautiful, like a butterfly on fire, still flying against a darkening sky. For me, he destroyed the mind of the simpleton Hare. For me, he ignores his tea party to have sex on the table. For me, time runs in his presence.

I once let him see me playing with one of the numerous Wonderland creatures. This thing had come to close to the Tea Party and I had to punish it. So I took to the trees and chased it about, drving it to madness with my bell. It ran in circles, screaming in exquisite anguish. Worn down and unable to run father, it clung to the gates of the Tea Party, begging with its eyes. I grinned, full, reveling in the pain of my mouth splitting open. Then I tore it shreds.

Looking up, the Hatter was sitting calmly in his chair, smoking a cigarette that never seemed to go out. Panting and covered in blood not my own, I thought he hadn't even seen me, but he was painfully hard, and I wallowed in his approval.

The greatest part is the game eternal. No one can escape me, and one day, I will ensnare everyone, even you.
