Dark Savior

This short poem is a tribute to the love and sacrifice Anita has shown for all she protects, especially the wereleopards. Although she still breathes, I'm sure that if she died defending them, that this is how Nathaniel, Micah, Cherry, and the rest of them would react.

Arise, our Dark Savior
Strong, beautiful, and wise
You shed your heart’s blood for us
And saved us from the lies
You cared not for pain
But always would sacrifice
Another part of you
To give us a better life
Arise, our Mother
And hide us from the night
Please tell us you’re still awake
Please open your eyes and fight
We’ll always hold you in our hearts
Our souls, our every breath
Please, Mother, Lover, Savior
Take back that step from Death
Arise, our Nimir-ra
And claim us as your own
For once again
We are without a home
