Two years have passed since Eric the Phantom of the Opera had disappeared without a trace, Raoul and Christine married and had taken in their Niece Tai after her real parents had died. Tai was thrilled to be living with her Aunt and Uncle but She was watched closely whenever she visited the opera house and taught how to sing and dance since Tai wanted to be a Ballet dancer and also be in the chorus.

Present day

"But Uncle Raoul why can’t I sit here on my own? Gosh I am nearly 19 years old I should be able to make my own choices by now." Tai glared at her Uncle but gasped when she watched him smile at her, "Tai, I wish I could leave you here alone but you know why I or your Aunt must stay by your side at all times when your at the Opera house" Tai rolled her eyes and muttered, "Yeah, yeah I know. Eric disappeared Two years ago and hasn’t been found since even though the police conducted a thorough inspection of his domain down below" Raoul smiled and kissed his Niece’s forehead like a father would with a daughter, and he had treated her like his own daughter spoiling her along with Christine. Tai followed her Uncle as he led her out of the stage room of the Opera house and sat down with her on the steps of the grand stair case Raoul turned to Tai and held her hand, “Tai, I promise that as soon as we find out where Eric is that you can be alone as much as you want to be” Tai’s eyes glimmered in hope and took the promise to her heart, knowing her Uncle would never lie to her. Tai nodded her head once to show that she had accepted his promise then she stood up, “Alright lets head home, I think that we’ve spent enough time here today” Tai watched her Uncle stand up and hid the fact she was really disappointed that they couldn’t stay long enough but she needed to seem as if she were bored with everything, Tai Followed her uncle out of the Opera house but felt a shiver go up her spine and a whisper in her head, “My angel, hear me I shall come for you soon” Tai froze to hear more but the voice was gone, Raoul turned to his niece and narrowed his eyes, “Are you ok Tai?” She looked up and nodded “Yes, yes I am ok I just thought...” Raoul took his niece’s hand and caught a taxi, but as the taxi was pulling away from the opera house Raoul looked out the window and saw the swirl of a black cape. Raoul clenched his fist in anger, So Eric had survived and now he had his sights set on his beloved niece. Raoul made a silent promise that he would protect Tai from Eric and would die trying. The taxi finally arrived an hour later at the Mansion and Tai stepped out behind her Uncle and sighed Wearily
