The Assault - Taking of the Mounds

Holly raised himself up high on his hands as he fucked the sidheside goblin female. She moved quickly and sank her fangs into the meat of his left breast, his hot blood filling her mouth as he neared his orgasm. She had to be quick and finish by the time he climaxed because he was just as likely to strike her as pet her. Holly was more violent than Ash who let his sidheside lover drink her fill before he pushed her away. Lying on the quilt overed bed not far from his brother, whose frantic movements indicated he was about to come, Ash insisted on his lover licking him clean. It returned him to some of the presex fever pitch, although now his thoughts were on war and killing something. He so badly wanted to kill something. When her tongue slid over his cock, he smiled. If only he could find a way to Fuck and kill something at the same time. The problem was, he didn't want to kill what he liked to fuck, and he wouldn't fuck what he wanted to kill.

Holly roared and sheathed himself deep in his lover. She held him tight to her, her nails digging into his hard ass. But sex did not sooth Holly's temperment, it only focused his thoughts, and he wanted to be focused for the assault. They were going deep into the mounds to finish taking them, linking up with the Seelie and Unseelie warriors who were also in the preparatory stages of their own attacks , although they probably weren't clearing their heads the way Ash and Holly were.

Doyle, the Queen's Darkness, stood behind Prince Essus who was staring into the last of the tunnels that spiraled downwards. They had pushed the last of the New World creatures deeper into them, and it was a matter of survival to either capture or kill them. Barinthus, who was more anxious than usual, stood beside the prince and said, "I can feel them."

"I sense them, too," the Unseelie prince replied as more of his sister's Ravens gathered behind them. His own Cranes were also present, along with some of Prince Cel's bodyguard. He smiled at Cathbodua; she was every bit as fierce and dangerous as the Ravens, which was a good thing. This last attack was going to be a killer.

Adair and Crystall sat with their backs against the cold rock and stared at Creidne, who along with the rest of the Fianna were waiting for Aisling to return. Creidne nervously licked her lips, her blue and gray eyes unable to pierce the darkness. She glanced back over her shoulder at them and asked, "What?"

"He'll be back," Adair assured her. "He always comes back." After 2,000 years, one would think Creidne would know that.

"There's always a first," she replied and reajusted the sword on her hip to make herself more comfortable in a crouching tiger sort of way.

Crystall laughed softly to himself and folded his arms over his breast. The women couldn't really help it. Aisling couldn't walk by a woman without them staring after him with hunger in their eyes, and the number who depended on him at the Seelie court was sizeable. Every lost soul looked to Aisling for protection, and unintentionally he was protecting them from their own king. Goddess help the lsot ones if anything happened to his cousin.

Adair heard the crunching of boots on gravel and said, "See, the great man himself." A moment later Aisling in his white cloak appeared before them. Rising to his feet, Adair asked his older brother, "Good news or bad?"

"I think I sensed our old friend just beyond an open cavern," Aisling answered quickly.

Crystall smiled. Their old friend Barinthus had made his presence known earlier. "Curog will be happy to hear that," he said of Barinthus's daughter. Curog was also under Aisling's protection, a lost soul in a new world.

Ash and Holly in leather armor and chain mail entered the dark tunnel and moved to the front of the Red Caps to stand beside their king.

"It's about time," Kurag grumbled.

Ash grinned and drew his sword, an ornate weapon of steel and bone and ivory. "Have we ever missed a fight?" he asked.
