Awakening

A/N: I must say before I post the story, I have not read the book yet, I have only watched the movie, and this is simply my fantasy turned into a story. Do not read any further if you are hoping for it to follow exactly with the book/movie. I will write a background so everyone knows what is going on, then the story will begin.

Background:

It had been a week, a long drawn out week since the last hunt. The pack had not been the same since Vivian had defied Gabriel, everyone knew what had happened, and everyone spoke of it like there was nothing else better to talk about. She had chose meat over him, over the most beautiful creature there ever was, well this is what Gabriel had thought.

How could she turn on her own family for a human? A play thing, as Rave had called him. So what was to happen now? No one knew. There were whispers of a plan Gabriel had, a plan to kill both Vivian and her Human toy, but Asrid had pleaded for her life, pleaded so much that she had almost driven Gabriel insane, and he had almost killed her, but Charisma has stepped in for her mother’s friend. Charisma had taken her side, she agreed with Asrid that Vivian and the human were better off, and that killing them would only bring the hunters, and this was what Gabriel had feared the most.

Things were going to change soon within the pack, of course Gabriel was going to have to choose a new mate since Vivian was the one he had chosen, he hadn’t done it officially but everyone knew she was the one he was going to pick. It made Charisma sick to her stomach to think that Vivian was supposed to be the chosen one, but she turned on her own kind. Charisma lived, and would die for this pack and she understood what it meant to be a great leader. Now all she could do was wait patiently to find out who Gabriel had chosen for his mate, although it would only be for seven years.

.it would still be a long enough time period to bring the pack back to it’s normal self again. Now is the time for the wolves to thrive once more, a time for them to run free like they were meant to do. Charisma had a plan, and if anyone stood in her way she would surely take care of that problem. It was time for the wolves to become the hunters, and the humans the hunted.
