Broken

The chalice was shattered

Once filled with a red liquid

Blood

A pattern of spiderwebs cascading

Across the stem to its cup

Sitting high upon a throne of

Black marble

The chalice cracked

Bloods seeped onto the

Pristine throne

Tainting it

And then it shattered

Glass tinkling to the floor

In thousands of tiny shards

Only the stem was left

Defiant

Solid

Alone

The body the chalice resides within

Slowly dies

Battered and bruised

Used and unloved

For a time the body can be left

Hollow

The spirit entwined with the

Chalice

Needing time to heal

To reconstruct its shattered

Innocence

Of one who is too strong to be

Brought down by those around her

Stubborn

Snarly

Magnificent

Witch
