Jamie
author's note- i decided to add another little oneshot to my series of one shots....this is the third part of my JJ and James Junior stories..now i know life isn't this perfect or wonderful but what can i say..i like happy endings...hope you like and enjoy...REVIEW!!!!..
BELLA POV
It was beautiful. The trees were swaying in the winds and the sun was just beginning to set. Maybe another 15 minutes before dark. The setting sun was reflected perfectly in the calm and sparkling lake and the crickets were just beginning to start their harmony. It was perfect. I smiled. It had been a while since i could say that about anything. But 3 years ago that all changed. I had JJ, who we aslo affectionately called Jamie and everything went uphill after that. Speaking of the little trouble maker, whom she loved with all her heart, where was he? It was almost his bedtime. Making her way out of the living room, she called out her son's name, although she knew he loved playing his little hide and seek games.
"HaHa". She turned at the sound of Jamie's laughter that floated in through the kitchen sliding door. Walking over she stopped and smiled at the sight of another beautiful view.
There, playing in the middle of the grassy field, were her son and husband. She smiled watching a grown vampire give his human child a piggyback ride. A huge simle on both of their faces. If the view itself wasn't heartwarming then the backstory was. There, in the field, was a vampire whose entire eternal life was based on hunting and nothing else but then changed drastically when the title of father was put on him. There in the field was a vampire who happily gave up the life of a tracker, took on the life of a father and husband, became a "vegetarian" and tried to live a semi-normal life to keep his family safe happy. There had been a time when she didn't think any of this would be possible and that the entire idea was completely far-fetched. Especially after losing Edward. But it was real. She had a beautiful little boy and wonderful devoted husband. James made her happier than she had been in years and she was glad that she had allowed him into her heart and life.
It hadn't started out this way. She had planned on raising JJ with joint custody. If James wanted a part in his son's life, who was she to deny him? It went good for a while. Then slowly her feeling of animosity towards James disappeared and was replaced with a sort of respect. Eventually respect grew to like. And finally like grew to love.
(author's note- yes that is a line from "The Wedding Planner"...so it doesn't belong to me..by the way watch it...it's a pretty cute movie..anyway...)
It wasn't long before a relationship formed and marriage soon followed. The rest is history.
She was still human however. So was little James. Her and James were going to wait a couple more mothes before turing her. 'After all, we wouldn't want to do anything potentially harmful to little Jessica would they?', she thought looking down at her 5 months pregnant belly. Yup. JJ was going to be a big brother. There's more shocking news for ya if the previous wasn't enough.
"MOMMY!!!!", yelled Jamie at me, breaking me out of my little reverie.
"Hey baby. Come on, time for bed", i said as James walked towards us with Jamie still on his back. I almost felt guilty that i had to end their fun. But it was getting late and Jamie needed his rest. Not to mention so did i, it wasn't easy being pregnant you know.
I stood in the doorway of our son's room as James tucked him in with a kiss on the forhead. I loved watching him with Jamie. He never ceased to amaze me with his gentle and caring side. Especially when he showed it with me, which he often did.
Lieing down in our bed, i watched James as he walked around our room, getting ready for bed.
"I love you", i said suddenly. I don't know why, but i just felt the need to tell him how much i loved him and how thankful i was for everything he had done. Everything from changing his previous lifestyle, to buying us this wonderful house out in the country.
"I love you too", he replied smiling at me as he climbed into bed and pulled me close to him. Eventually our breathing evened out and i fell into a peaceful slumber with dreams centered around our wonderful and perfectly uncomplicated life.
