Meeting In A Dream
author's note-hey guys i'm back..i decided to write a sequal to With Arms Wide Open..i wasn't originally going to..but i said what the hell..hopefully i still have the same readers and reviewers as well as some new ones..and i'm serious now..i really want to know what all of you readers think so don't forget to review..it really fuels my fire..thanks guys..keep all minds open during the ride..sit back and enjoy..
Emelia POV
Rain poured down over the world as i sat quietly in my living room. The house was completely silent with just me in it. Mom, dad, and nan(she had descided she wanted to be changed too)were out hunting deer while i stayed home finishing up homework.
Everything was going fine so far, but then the air in the house changed. I felt like i was no longer alone. Like someone was in the house with me now. It couldn't be them back from hunting because they would have said something.
I slowly put down my text book and homework and looked around the living room, listening intently for any sign of an intruder. You would think i would be scared, but i was my father's daughter after all. His looks weren't the only thing i inherited from him.
When nothing happened for the 10 minutes i sat there and the bad feeling slowly went away, i descided i was being stupid, and went back to work. I hadn't even started the first problem when the creepy feeling returned, this time bringing a shiver that crawled up my spine. Something was definately off.
"Emelia", said a strange voice from behind me.
Whirling around, i found the source of the voice to be a man, pale, dressed in clothes that had deen better days, and with bright glowing red eyes.
a/n- i was so gonna stop it right there..but i figured that was a little too mean..lol...
"Emelia"
I shot up from my lying poisiton on the couch, my human senses fully alert.
"Emelia", said my father, James, as he kneeled next to me, "it's ok you were having a nightmare. You must have fallen asleep doing your homework."
Sure enough my books were scattered across the floor around me and on my stomach. I looked around the room, expecting to see the man from my dreams, but he wasn't there. It was just my nan and mom, Mercedes. They were both looking at me with worried expressions. Assuring them it was nothing i asked how hunting went.
"It was fine, but i need to talk to you about something", said dad seriously. I nodded for him to continue as mom and nan walked into the other room, probably to cook my dinner.
"While we were hunting i caught the smell of another vampire. Probably just wondering about, but i want you to stay out of the woods for a while. Just until it leaves, then you can go back. Alright?"
"Yea"
"Ok", dad finished, kissing my head.
After he was gone my mind immediately went to the man in my dreams. He actually looked pretty young. About 20. But his age didn't concern me. His appearance did. Especially his eyes. No normal person had glowing red eyes. Vampires did though. Was he who my dad was talking about?
