A Twilighters' Night
Summary
A poem that takes a beginning twilighter though Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Series
A Twilighters' Night
A Twilighter's night
I tried to write a happy poem
But this is all I got
I tried to write a funny poem
But I’ll give you what I got…
Twilight marks the beginning
Of the night without the light
Twilight marks the beginning
Of the day the dead take flight
By the new moon all is quiet
All loved ones are forsaken
No one can even help
All loved ones are taken
An eclipse is now forming
On the darkest hour of the night
The dead will fight battles
Against their brethren with all their might
The night will fade to light
The dawn will break anew
The dead will start to tremble
And take the humans with them too
I will not write a Eulogy
For this is nothing of the sort
I will not write a Eulogy
The dead do not need an honoring report
I will write a Requiem
If that is what you want
So that this may follow them
Through hell and to forever taunt
