PROLOGUE
***...***...***
[Ten years] in the future, two lovers sit side by side on the sandy beach watching the horizon, where it meets with the sea.
Never again to see it the same way as others do.
Just a picture perfect sunset.
For now, they know the truth.
“...............................................................Draw me into the web you spin
Stretching me to the extreme, I brace
Allowing myself, in placid servitude
to ignore my innate response to self preserve
Feeling the systematic contrast
As I immerse in the deep
My lungs burn
I follow the compulsion to complete
searching
I lift my lips to yours
for the sugarcoated kiss that titillates
and feeds my very soul....................................................................”
[yes I did...lol. Used my own poem...its original....and all mine...I fixed it a little too. Does it sound better this way?]“...”
“um...I don't mean to sound insensitive but...” “it sounds like the poet is describing...um...something very...um...intimate...”
“you mean...climax?” “c'mon you can say it...”
“okay...fine...” reaching an orgasm. There I said it, you happy?””
“yes...very much, thank you!”
“...that was beautiful though. Who wrote it?”
“its anonymous.”
“that's so sad...”
“why do you think that's sad?”
“...”
“you can tell me, honey...”
“because...now, no body knows who felt deeply enough to write something about this...”
“um...maybe that was the point, honey..”
“...I think its important....people should know...”
“we are not talking about the poet anymore, are we?”
“...”
“is this about them?”
“...”
“talk to me, sweetie...”
“its too hard to talk about it still...”
“you are right, you know...”
“what do you mean? I was just having a moment.”
“you know why we can't though right?” “That to shine public light on who did it would just create more trouble than its worth.”
“...of course I do.”
“so tell me whats bothering you.”
“its nothing, babe.” “I am just happy we made it.”
“Look at me, mommie!”
“Check this out, daddy!”
“The world may never know, but we'll always be thankful...”
