No one knows how long it's been there, but it was there all the same. It the plants, rocks or earth itself could speak they would tell you of a time in which there was once people on the island. A small tribe of natives had once lived on the island is peace. Then one day during a storm it came. Rising out of the moutain and swiftly desending to take the life of anyone that crossed its path that night for it was hungry and that hunger would be appeased before dawn's first light when it would retreat back into the shadows of the mountain.

The natives tried in vain to subdue this creature but in the end failed as it slowly wiped them out as it feed off their fleash and gnawed their bones for the treasure of marrow which laid inside the hard white containers.

When it ran out of natives, the creature learned to use what powers it had to lure in boats that would pass by. Sometimes it would get small fishing boats that belonged to the nearby island, and this would lure in more boats filled with those from the other tribes who sought to rescue/avenge the missing yet ended up in its stomach all the same and rarely would it let someone escape.

As time passed, it watched as the boats it drew in brought different kinds of people and how the garments they wore would change as time progressed. With the invention of the airplane, it leanred to take contorl of these 'noisy mechanical birds' and crash them close to the beach. Then it would wait untill the sun had sank before it would emerge from the nearby Castle rock and devour the marooners one by one. Depending on how hungry it was he would often play with them first, like a cat does with a mouse, before decending upon them when they when they least expected it.

Then one fateful day the creature brought down a small passenger plane with five men, a seix year old boy and a...woman!? Yes, after all these year a woman had finally stepped foot on this accursed island once again and it intrigued the creature to no end seeing as how it had forgotten what a woman was.

Yet this was no ordinary woman. She was Angela Angel, a time walker granted immortallity to roma our plant and record its history. She appears to be twenty years of age with sholder length wavy honey blonde hair and deep violet eyes that peer into one's soul. On that day she was wearing a simple blue cotton dress and was returning to her home known only as the Mansion of Time, where she kept all her notes and findings on compact disks called Crystal Disks, after touring the world for a year to update herself on current events and trends.

Angela knew or was connected to each of the men in some way...

Richard Stevens, the piolet, died on contact and was washed away by the tide.
Stephen Crypt was the co-piolet and the first to die by the creture on the first night.
Maxwell Gold was new friend of Angela's was killed next the same night.
Identical twins Lance and Mace Knight whom were the bodyguards of Angela and the young boy, died the next night as they attempted to fight the creature.

Finally the young boy died. He was Richard Angel the 3rd, Angela's own son. He was torn from her arne nne night while they slept alone in the Castle rock one stormy night. Angela spent the day mourning for the loss of her son and as the son began to slowly dip behind the western horizion to sleep for the night, Angela dried her tears and prepared to face the creature that night.

When the sun was gone, the creature desended from the mountain and made its way ac the the island to the Castle where Angela waited for it. Angela sat on top of the Castle with a sowrd in hand and watched as it emerged from the nearby forest. She was surprised to find that it was a being made of pure darkness with the form of a man yet deformed to suit its enviroment.

Angela didn't waste any breath on talking to it as she jumped down from the Castle with a Xena like cry and charged at the creature. Even though Angela was a skilled warrior and fought many time, she was unprepared to fight this being and soon lost her sword as it pinned her to the ground. It held her down with one hand on her neck as it loomed over her, the moon right behind its head thus adding to the effect of how scary it looked.

"Go on, kill me," Angela said as best she could under the weight of its hand. It looked at her confussed as it lifted its hand a bit to allow her to talk a bit easier.

"Why would I want to do that?" it asked and Angela blinked in surprise.

"I'm th lane, ne, you killed all the others. Including my son," Angela said and the creture turned these word over in its head.

"You're different. So you're staying alive," it said. Angela girtted her teeth as she kneed him hard as she could. When she felt his breath rush out on her, she threw him off her and he rolled off the Castle on the water side as it shrieked in fear and clung to the rock to avoid touching the wet substance. At sam same time, she rolled off the side the lead to the ground. She landed on the rough sand like a cat, bolted forward, grabbed her sword and went into the woods as she tried to figure out a new plan.

She ran as fast as she could through the woods, her feet flying over the vegitation and sticks on the ground as the moon tried in vain to shine light through the canopy so as to light her way on this dangerous night. She could hear herself trying to keep an even breath as she could aloshear the creature catching up with her when she was getting close to half way across the island. She gritted her teeth in frustation before she leapt up into one of the trees to quiet herself and think for a moment.

The creature had been tracking her by her scent and stopped in his tracks past the point where Angela had jumped into the air. She bit her lip in anticpation as he scanned the air to find her once again. Slowly it turned around and looked up the tree that she was in. It cursed under his breath just as she fell down silent as the wind and drove the sword through what one would call a body. It howled in pain as what seemed like blood was drawn. Some fell to the ground and began to burna hole while droplets were splattered onto An's 's bare skin and it made her hiss in pain. This brought the creature's attention back to her and with a single backhand hit he threw her off him. Still holding onto to the sword, she flew through the air and the sword did even more damge as it was pulled roughly from his body. Before she knew it, her back made contact with a tree and she felt a searing pain that made her cry out in shocking from feeling it. She then fell to the ground with an 'umph' and the sword fell from her hand as she rolled over towards to the creature. Breathing deeply so as the oygen would ease the pain, she turned her attention back to the creature.

"Do you think that really would have worked?" it asked as a shaft on moonlight shined on his rapidly healy wounds and Angela cursed under her breath as she watched this. It grinned triumphantly and Angela began to despair untill a new idea came to mind. She held up her right hand and a whit light came off her palm. The creature gasped then shrieked as a pure white light flashed through the air and it quickly covered its eyes in an attempt from going blind. Even though the light did hurt the creature, it wasn't the intent of the spell.

When the light fadded away and everything went back to normal, the creature growled and stormed forward to punish Angela for hurting him with that light but ran into an invisible barrier that was three feet away from her. It stepped back in surprise and looked around stunned before testing the air.

"Sorcereres," it hissed in anger and Angela grinned.
"Not just a Sorcereres, I'm a Mystic," she said.
'That explains it,' the creture thoguht as she tried to get up only to lay back down in pain.
"You're hurt," it stated.
"You've 'just' noticed?" she asked and it glared at her, "All that matters is that you can't get in."
"You can't get out either. You're stuck."
"Only till morning, only till morning," Angela said. It stared at her for a moment before he walked away. Angela simply watched with out wondering and began to heal herself once he was out of her sight.

When the sun rose that morning, she was healed enough to walk to the beach so as to get to the plane and try the radio once more. Yet once she got there, she found nothing left of the plane except for a large scar in the side of the beach. The sight of it bothered her and she soon turned away. With her only way of rescue gone, she was forced to stay on the island with that creature...

That was a year ago and now it's World War I...
