To be Filled

Act One: Scene One
[Setting: The Throne Room, Denmark]

Fortinbras, Horatio

Fortinbras:
Poland is vanquished my father avenged,
My heart is filled, what say you Horatio?

Horatio:
The battle was well waged Sir Fortinbras.
I regret Prince Hamlet had not that chance.

Fortinbras:
His absence does sadden from that I heard,
Yet in remembrance you must keep this fact,
Still pain’d men shall ne’re hear Fate’s tune differ.

[Exit Fortinbras]

Horatio:
Doth a bird tell an’other not to soar?
What irony Fortinbras speaks of,
If t’was not for his passions men call grief,
In this fine place he would not be.

[Exit Horatio]
