Horatio:
What causes the request of my being?

Fortinbras:
Anguish has become your name, Horatio.
What ails you so dearly that you are blind?

Horatio:
My heart cries betray’l if I speak of it.

Fortinbras:
We have gainèd companionship enough,
Since I ruled the throne in Hamlet’s place.

[Fortinbras pauses before speaking again]

Aye, that is what trauma causes such grief,
You long for Hamlet’s time to mount the throne.

Horatio: (aside)
Mayhaps for he to mount and fill my corpse.

Fortinbras:
You mentioned Rosencrantz and Guildenstern,
Dear cohorts, ne’re leaving companion’s side.

Horatio: (aside)
Ne’re leaving by day, speci’ly not by night.

Was not not the way you and Hamlet were?

Horatio: (aside)
I wish those sweet words were the bitter truth.

Fortinbras:
Mumble never speak, what sickens the mind?
For wounds to heal, you must give forward first.

Horatio:
For wounds to heal, I must hear words ne’re said.
