The Dress Expert
Okay 2nd attempt at chapter 8. My lovely laptop overheated and took this chapter down with it. Sorry I'm so delayed guys. My muse has been off dancing with another story, which I'll be posting here very soon. Keep and eye out for Silent Screams and tweet me.

ON TO THE SHOW!
---------------------
I awoke with a start, sitting up looking around. My brain still foggy on what was real and what was a dream. The boarder line between what was real and what was pretend had been crossed along time ago.
I blinked my eyes and rubbed them. Edward's concerned face coming into view.
"I'm sorry baby. Another nightmare" He put his arms around my knowingly and kissed my shoulder. It had been like this for weeks. I barely slept and when I closed all I saw was Jacob, James, and this new threat.
"It'll be over soon." He said lay us back on the bed and positioning us so we were on our sides, my head pressed to his chest, and he chins rested on my head. "Emmett thinks he might of found where they're hiding."
"I hope so. Do you think they'll find them before the wedding?" I said hopeful. I didn't want our wedding day to be shrouded in fear.
"Maybe. They're trying their hardest. But. For now, you have to get up and get dressed" He smile letting me go from his tight embrace. "You have to go try on your dress and pick out something for Alice, Rosalie, Jessica, and Angela to wear"
I smiled to myself imagining Alice dancing around a fine dress shop using Jessica, Angela, and I as her dress up dolls. Rosalie of course would have no part of being a doll. She would help Alice pick things out. Somehow, having a century under your belt made you a fashion expert.
I kissed Edward and said our goodbyes for the day. And I headed off to the shower, making sure I took extra time on my hair. I knew how much Edward loved the smell of strawberries when we cuddled in bed. And tonight there would be a lot of that since Alice was robbing me of him today.
Once clean, dry, and my hair pulled back in a ponytail I drifted downstairs to make breakfast for Charlie before he went to work. Instead of my usual elaborate eggs, bacon and toast I made simply eggs and left him to figure out how to work the toaster without burning the house down. I had to pick up Angela and Jessica before meeting Alice back here since we were taking her Porsche.
"The Cullen's are really pulling out all the stops for this aren't they" Jessica said as we sat on the porch waiting for Alice.
"Alice is a big planner. Don't you remember the graduation party" I smiled thinking back to the beautiful set up she'd put together in a matter of hours.
"I don't think any of us will ever forget that" Angela laughed. I stood up and ushered them toward the driveway as I heard Alice coming round the corner.
"Oh my god! You didn't tell us we'd be riding in that!" Jessica squealed as the car stopped before us.
"Surprise!" I said opening the door. "But first. SHOTGUN!"
We all climbed into the car, giggled. The ride to Seattle seemed to take forever but I didn't mind.
We all sang along to different songs on the radio and caught up on gossip I'd missed over the months. At some time before be got to Seattle Jessica and Angela passed out.
"Bella," Alice said breaking our silence.
"Yeah?" I said looking up at her. I'd spend most of the ride, since they'd fell asleep, staring at the
floorboard.
"I'm worried about Jessica. Ever since she got in the car her heart's been racing." She said concern in her voice.
"She's probably uncomfortable. You know this is the most time she's ever spent around you."
"True." she laughed. I heard the others start to stir as we pulled into the dress shops parking lot. I could only stare at the massive store. It was large, elaborate, and beautiful.
Alice practically pulled the three of us out of the car and into the store. Once inside everywhere my eyes fell there was a dress. Red, blue, purple, green, pink, white and some colors I couldn't even identify.
Jessica and Angela squealed with delight and ran off through the store. The store clerk came up and started to usher us around, showing Alice and I various dresses. Finally settling on a rather plain strapless dress with a pool blue ribbon across the top which carried around to the back and flowed into a beautiful blue center down the back. For Angela, Jessica, Alice, and Rosalie we chose strapless pool blue knee length dresses. I opted to trade with them but Alice insisted that though mine would be hotter it would be much more beautiful.
After purchasing the dresses we headed out to Sonic to grab a bite for the humans. The ride back to Forks was fairly silent aside from the music Alice blared. My body feeling the full effects of the days work, I started to drift into sleep. In what felt to me like the blink of an eye we were in my drive-way.
I groaned and got out of the car, letting the other girls out behind me. Alice said her goodbyes and drove away. I knew Edward would be waiting around the edge of the house to keep watch since Alice was gone. Though he couldn't just walk in since Jessica and Angela were there, I thought it would be a tad strange for them.
"Are you two still crashing here tonight?" I said looking up at them with groggy eyes.
"Surely" Angela beamed.
"Alright, you can share my bed or one of you can get the couch and one get the chair."
"I call couch!" Angela said running over and plopping down. I sighed with relief, hoping I'd get to spend the night with Edward.
"Could I share with you Bells? The chair hurts my back" Jessica whined. I sighed leave it to
Jessica.
"Sure" I shrugged and trudged upstairs to the hall closet to get out Angela a blanket and pillow. After saying our goodnights Jessica and I disappeared up the stairs. "Let me go get changed then you can have the bathroom for the night"
I pulled on my pajamas and slipped back into the bedroom. Jessica was sitting in my mother's old rocking chair, looking at my oddly.
"Something wrong?" I said walking over to the bed and tossing myself back on it.
"And cue Edward" She said simply, Edward was at my side in an instant looking bewildered. I
was in total shock.
"What are you doing?!" I almost shouted.
