"You're alright, right. You're okay?" Edward asked urgently.
"Of course. What is wrong with you? Are you insane?"
"No, he's not." Jessica said sinisterly, her body started to twitch and shake. I closed my eyes in utter disappointment of myself. It wasn't Jessica and I should have known that. We should have known that.

But wait, how did he have a heartbeat?

"What are you?" I said narrowing my eyes at him.

"I thought we went over that last time," he pulling a gun from his pocket. "It's not your concern. And yes, Edward. The gun seems rather redundant because hell you're a vampire it's not like it could kill you."

He paused laughing to himself

"But she's not." He said pointing it at me. I jumped a little hearing a thud by the window. Edward I both looked up to see James standing by my window. I clung to Edward's body tighter than ever before.

"Looks like I got here just in time for the show." James laughed. I thought struck me and I started to fear for Jessica.

"Where's Jessica?" I said speaking up as best I could without showing my fear.

"At home. Asleep probably." The brown hair monster sighed casually. "No reason to harm the innocent"

"So have you figured it out yet, Edward" James smiled. Edward nodded

"He's a hybrid. Half vampire, Half human."

"Very good. I know I've been away so long but I wanted to make sure he was full grown before I brought him out"

"You're disgusting! Killing an innocent woman just so you would have a child to hurt us." Edward spat.

"This has gotten so much bigger than you, Edward. Just think how powerful I would be with an army of hybrids. The Volturi couldn't even dream of taking me down."

My stomach churned at the thought of James in power of the vampire.

"I would be king. And of course. I would need a queen." He said looking at me devilishly.

"I could rather die"I retorted then buried my face into Edward's chest to hide from James's piercing eyes. I felt Edward place one hand on the back my head, I guess trying to hold me tighter.

"Now here is what's going to happen, if you want Bella to live" James said loosing some of his patience.

"Edward and Aiden are going to go downstairs and get Angela, you Bella are going to wait here. With me"

"I'm not leaving Bella" Edward said abruptly.

"You'll do it now, or I'll kill her with my bare hands and make you watch every second." James threatened. "You forget, there are two of us and one of you. Not to mention Alice won't see this. Her clairvoyance is limited. She can't see hybrids just like she can't see wolves."

My heart sank, we really were helpless. Alice couldn't see anything, our futures would simply go black. Mine, Edwards, and Angela would simply disappear. Leaving us for dead or alive until we we're free of them.

"Now, go downstairs and get Angela" James directed them to the door. Edward regretfully let go of me and started to step away. I looked up at him fearful and he kissed my head and disappear.
James was instantly on me.

"Did you miss me" He breathed into my ear, his arms wrapping tightly around me stomach and his marble chest pressing against my back. I didn't speak. I couldn't. I simply stared at the door waiting for Angela and Edward to return.

I felt my tears start to win me over as I felt something cold and wet slide up my neck to my earlode.

"Well I've missed you. You scent is just so intoxicating." He whispered into my hair while stroking my hair.

"Please stop" I said my knees loosing the battle with my weight, almost dumping me into the floor before James caught me.I heard the bedroom door open and saw Edward and Aiden return. Aiden clamped tightly onto Angela's mouth, her eyes filled with terror. What had he done or said to her before they could get her up the stairs. Edward's jaw was tightly gritted and his fists balled up.

"Alright then, let's get going shall we? Don't want to wake daddy now, do we?" James laughed tossing me over his shoulder, I heard Angela let out a grunt and assume Aiden had done the same to her.
