Take my Breath Away

She moaned as she lay in the snow. Her whole person ached, and she was starting to lose feeling due to the cold. She let her mind drift as she tried to remember what had happened. She had been been searching through an old wardrobe in the museum. It was the grand opening of the museum, so she knew that the date presently was April 15,1940. She had been looking at an old wooden wardrobe that had been used by pioneers in the 1800's, and when nobody had been looking, she climbed inside,and found herself in this strange place. She looked around. The trees were bare, but leaves were growing back. The snow on the ground was slowly melting away. The air was crisp, and wherever she was seemed welcoming enough. She could barely hold up her head any longer. She let it drop back on the ground, and exhaled as everything went black.

Edmund carefully and quietly snuck out of the palace.
